The mission of The Department of Children and Family Services located in the state of Florida is to protect the vulnerable, promote strong and economically self-sufficient families, and advance personal and family recovery and resiliency. The vision is that every child in Florida lives in a safe, stable, permanent home, nurtured by healthy families and strong communities. This new Five Year Child and Family Services Plan (CFSP) reflects this vision and is supported by the Department of Children and Families Strategic Direction Plan and the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
