Character Analysis: The Monkey King
For my essay I chose to write about how it took the Monkey King 500 to return to his true form to escape the rock pile. In the book Jin Wang must return from Danny to his real self in order to go back home. Jin wang returns to his true form to show the monkey King and he is able to return home to see his friend. The monkey King also had to return to his true because he was pretending to be Chinkee Danny's cousin.
Another character who had to transform back into his true form was Wei Chen because he was really the monkey kings son. But Wei Chen decided not to transform into his true form and left school. I have experienced this many times when I was younger in 5 fifth grade I pretended to be popular and started hanging out with the wrong crowd.
