Character Analysis: That's So Raven Baxter

Megan is a young African American teenager from the west-side of Baltimore. She is bright and extremely extroverted. She was born in the late 90’s were the best T.V shows were shown. The extraordinary television show “That’s So Raven” aired on January 17, 2003.The show had young girls star struck and idolizing the lead of this sitcom,Raven Baxter. She was a winsome teen who had the ability to glimpse into the future. Now during the time period of this show Megan is in her fifth year of elementary school. Elementary school is a time when friends, family, and fun is the primary dream for an eleven year old. When she seen these people speaking ill of her she immediately retreated to a place that lived in her but never was used in the way that it was quickly about to takeover her next couple of years in school and it was anger. Megan began walking around with a spirit of anger. She was described by others as mean and unapproachable. Relating to Raven Baxter, she was bullied in some episodes that was aired during this time and Megan learned early from this that anger was the best place to retreat too. Raven would confide in her closest friends Eddie and Chelsea who can be described as two very out-going and outspoken characters. Raven would tell all of her deep secrets to Chelsea when she was in doubt about anything she could talk to her about it. Megan had that with her best friend the only one that she had made prior to first day of school and her name was Imani. Imani was very introverted,overly opinionated and had a great sense of humor.
