Character Analysis: Omicron
Training. That's all you did. Train. Train. Train. You didn't care about being better than everyone else, you just wanted to be better than yourself. Cheesy as it was, that's what you did. If anything, it was for Omicron's sake. Just like Delta was logic, Omicron was fear. It was afraid everything. Afraid that you would drop your (Fave/Drink), afraid you would die, afraid it would be alone, afraid that you would forget about it. Just...

There were only two people Omicron was even semi-comfortable with, you and Agent Washington. Why Agent Washington? You honestly had no clue. They were pretty tight, they would chat a lot, Omicron would never tell you what they talked about though. You speculated that it was either cats or the ever terrifying

"That's way too costly, and way too complicated, even for the big bad man up top. If they really wanted to find out who was trustworthy, the Director would just have the Counselor stalk us or something. Psychoanalyses for everyone!" You said joyfully throwing your hands into the air.

"But what if-"

"Hey Montana, Omicron." A voice interrupted your precious A.I.'s ramblings

As you turned around to look at Agent Washington, your precariously stacked armor pieces almost fell over. He rushed to save the day, like some kind of Superhero, who inevitably gets the girl. Sadly, you guys sucked at being super soldiers. The arm guards that were stacked on the very top fell with a loud clang. You and Wash both froze before looking at whose door you were next to. Maine's. Wash would probably survive, seeing as he and Maine seem friendly. You on the other hand... You were so dead.

Hearing a low growl emit from the room, Wash quickly broke out of his frozen state, picked up the fallen piece of armor, and took some of your load. He had to drag you for a moment before you realized, oh shit. Maine's coming. Covering your load with your other hand, you two sprinted down the halls. Basically bashing your door down and slamming it shut, you two huffed and puffed trying to breathe.

"I am so dead when Maine finds

"Omicron... Damage report..."

Your A.I. appeared in a flash of light gray. "You have a 60% chance of a concussion and a sprained ankle."

"That's not too bad for a ship crash..." You grunted.

Getting up with a hiss of pain, you staggered away from the crash as quickly as possible. There's no telling what caused such a large ship to fall, and to be honest... You didn't want to know. Omicron could be in danger, and your A.I. was your priority. Survival was your priority.

"...We'll be okay, Omicron... We'll be okay..."

**7 years later**

You had been keeping track of the Project since you escaped with Omicron, though there was no need for it in actuality. Most of your old friends were dead, or arrested. York, South, North, C.T., Wyoming... Who knows how many more? Plus, the Project had been shut down. But, after all these years, you still believe Carolina is M.I.A.. Tex, from what you could tell from the transmissions you had intercepted a couple years back, was still alive (you don't know if she is anymore). And Wash... He was with the Project last you checked. They called him Recovery One. You figured he wouldn't leave it, seeing as he wasn't apart of Tex's plan, but you didn't think you'd see him and Carolina with a group of Red and Blue SIM soldiers at Outpost 17-B after all these

In the epic myth The Odyssey, written by Homer, Odysseus takes a twenty year long and perilous journey back to his homeland Ithaka. He must face many physical and mental challenges that makes him worthy of being a hero. The physical qualities that possess an epic hero include immense gallantness and dexterity. This can be seen when “Odysseus had blinded god-like Polyphemus, the mighty cyclops who was Poseidon’s son” (Rosenberg 78). Cyclopes are gigantic and man-eating. To face such a powerful, terrifying monster one must be extremely valiant, a trait that as you can see Odysseus possesses. A task like this also reguires a lot of skill, one must be clever because strength alone will not suffice against a Cyclops. The mental traits that epic…

People read literature because it teaches about humanity, both the positives and negatives. Sometimes, they learn more from reading about the mistakes and flaws of characters. Oedipus Rex is one of these characters, flawed even though he thinks he is divine. According to Bernard Knox, “these attributes of divinity – knowledge, certainty, justice – are all qualities Oedipus thought he possessed – and that is why he was the perfect example of the inadequacy of human knowledge, certainty, and justice.” In Sophocles’ tragedy Oedipus Rex, Oedipus’s untimely fall is caused by his false certainty of knowledge, his rash actions done without that certainty, and his injustice toward those trying to warn him.…

    Ophelia Character Analysis

Various characters in William Shakespeare’s Hamlet exhibit aspects of an “outsider”. The obvious choices being Claudius and Hamlet. Claudius appears to be freed from moral restrictions, while Hamlet represents the stereotypical isolated intellectual. However, both of them pale in comparison to the true outsider in the play: Ophelia. Both Claudius and Hamlet are too respected and entangled in the lives of others to be considered the ultimate estranged outsider. Ophelia on the other hand, is constantly pushed to the periphery, despite her significant relationships with many of the main characters. She is also unable to comply with the restrictive and conflicting expectations placed upon her.…
