Character Analysis Of Jonas 'Father In The Giver'
Jonas’ dad is a nurturer, he takes care of newborn babies. The Nurturers work at the Nurturing Center, looking after the babies until they are strong enough to be adopted, or released. Being a nurturer has to be careful when they are taking care of the newborn babies. There are always fifty new children each year, and when they become Ones at the December Ceremony.
