This applies to him when he takes on the responsibility for defending the Tom Robinson case. Although almost the entire community is against him, he made a way to somewhat prove that Tom Robinson is…

Scout, also known as Jean Louise Finch, is the narrator throughout the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. She is one of the few the most interesting characters in this novel. Although Scout is very young throughout, she is very intelligent and understanding of what goes on around her, but she is a bit curious as well. Scout is more of a tomboy than a girly girl, and she would often get into fights with the boys around her school. These traits often occur during most of the novel, except some of the tomboy traits fade out when her aunt arrives. Leaving her wanting to live in her dad’s world and not her aunt’s.…

Now that we know Atticus is nice, next is a show with some similarity, in The Fosters twins got adopted when they were only little kids and since they wanted to get to know their biological parents, one of the towns named Jesus went or his mother's home then the mother Stef found out and was confident that her kid was inside his mom's house, she decides to enter and out of nowhere, she has been shot, but in reality her kid was never inside the house. Another cop could have taken the role of going inside the house but she chose it due to the kids in danger being her own kids. Atticus, being a good person and father doesn’t lash out on him, but walks away. Another thing is when the town talked bad about him for defending Tom. He was doing what was right and the town disgraced him and talked about him but he still didn’t get mad at anyone. By doing all these things, he is setting a good example for Jem and Scout.…

Atticus is To Kill a Mockingbird's most upright character, representing the moral ideal of both a lawyer and a human being: he is brutally honest, highly moral, an extremely opinionated tireless crusader for good causes (even hopeless ones), a virtual pacifist, and, for the most part, devoid of any of the racial or class prejudices afflicting the other citizens of Maycomb. He goes to great pains to instruct his children on the importance of being open-minded, judicious, generous neighbors and citizens. He is eventually revealed to be an expert marksman, but he had chosen to keep this fact hidden from his children so that they would not in any way think of him as a man of violence. He was once the best shot in Maycomb County, but quit shooting…

I see the character of Atticus Finch as a courageous, smart, and a great father to Scout and Jem. Atticus had a lot of success as a parent despite the fact that he was a single parent trying to take care of his children on his own. As with any parent though there is always room for improvement. He would give his kids too much freedom. I admire his character and how he handled certain situations.…
