In this interesting book, Wendy Laura Belcher gives a helpful set of descriptions and steps in the process of writing and sending a journal article in twelve weeks. The book is divided into 12 weeks, where she explains what aspects or procedures should be taken into account when writing an article in that period of time and a final one to check the desicions of the journal which the writer submitted the article.

Some of the most significant messages through the whole book is the importance of creating a habit of writing everyday, at least fifteen or twenty minutes, the fact of doing writing more social and public and less private and solitary, organize ideas around a significant idea, say something new about something old, have a discourse intended to persuade and tell the reader your argument clearly and early. These aspects are some of the most important, and let us clear that writing involves sharing the writing production with others, get feedback, persuade the reader and produce writing, no matter perfection. I think this is a very appropiate summary of the main goals and doorsteps a writer should follow in order of successful writing.
