Chapter 3 Review: Time and Stress Managment IF YOU WERE THE BOSS

1. Name three reasons why time management and workplace organization is important.
There is little to no stress when tasks are completed on time. Completed assignments help with business deadlines allowing and employer to properly praise you for your work. Time management and organization helps achieve goals.

2. Share three time management tools.
Make a list of tasks for each day and prioritize that list.
Organize your work area, use folders and inboxes
Avoid time wasters, small activities that take up a small amount of time but are done more frequently than we realize.

3. Share three organization tools you should practice in your personal work area.
Take inventory, donate or throw away items you may not need any longer
Place items where they are required
Return used items to its appropriate area.

4. Define time wasters and explain how to deal with them.
Time wasters are small activities that take up only a small amount of time but are done more frequently than we realize. They include unnecessary visiting or inappropriate activities (texting, email, social networking sites, etc.) The best way to deal with them is designate specific times to do those activities.
