Chapter 12 summary: Symbols can mean a lot of things depending on the person and their history. Some symbols can have a range of meaning but is similar. It is important to remember all the details and symbol of a stories to have a more understanding of the stories but you should always go for your opinion first. Example: The stories “A passage to India” uses different girl to find out the meaning of a cave. Different people have really different opinion of the cave and its purpose.
