CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

A study on Automation Processing System-Material Handling Station was conducted by the team of Actub, F., et. al. (2014) and the Color Sorting Station with Cartesian Coordinate Station by Balucan, J., et. al. (2009). The existing Automation Processing System-Material Handling Station (APS-MHS) and Color Sorting Station with Pick and Place Station has a problem as cited in its recommendation. For the Material Handling Station includes excessive angle for sliding module, inappropriate material for the cable chain that hold or cover wires and hoses, extra inputs which can be eliminated without varying the sequence. For the Color Sorting Station with Pick and Place Station where further development and alignment of the stepper motion, components, such as sorting gate modules, and conveyor rollers to increase efficient performance, upgrading of the geared head DC motor, replacement of the stepper motor into DC geared-head motor or servo motor, along with the control circuits for simplicity and reliability if operations, too much input or output for the existing PLC model, inappropriate materials used (belts, solenoid valves), difficulty in disassembling and assembling. It is for this purpose that the current proponents and the co-authors decided

BSN Essential VII is about clinical prevention and population health. Acute care and disease-based care are very important in nursing practice but on their own are inadequate for improving health. One of the main parts of nursing practice is health promotion and disease prevention across the lifespan that is why nurses need to be knowledgeable in growth and development. Also, nurses need to know evidence-based clinical prevention practices to provide best care. Practicing health promotion, disease and injury prevention nurses assist individuals, families, communities, and populations to prepare for as well as to minimize health consequences of emergencies. If women who were captured by Indians sometimes chose to go back to their captors, my opinion is that this was most likely caused by the fact that in the British colonies, women were stuck in a world of subjugation. They may have found life in another culture such as the Native American tribes fairer, or at least more tolerable to live in, if they were accepted. I formed this idea from the evidence in the text in which I repeatedly found the female colonists were second-class as a usual practice in most colonies. Even the small amount ‘man’s work’ women were sometimes doing was limited to fieldwork, and only if labor was scarce.…

For nearly half a century the black community lived in the separate but equal world controlled by the white man. This was especially true in the Southern states, where nearly every white person maintained a sense of superiority over their black neighbors. While the states in the North had started to break down these racial barriers on their own it would take a Supreme Court Decision, the intervention of the President of the United States, and the U.S. Army to bring integration to Central High School in the Southern town of Little Rock, Arkansas.…

The Native American Indians received cruel treatment during the 1800’s -1900’s; Immigrants stole their land, resources and basically corrupted their community. Past events show us the tragedy of the natives and their hardships. However, in the last decades Native American Indian descendants have been known to succeed in the casino business. In his article “Jackpot” David Plotz reports the story of Paula Lorenzo, a woman that struggled to make a living to support her 4 children but with the help of her Rumsey tribe made a successful gaming casino business. There are both positive and negative aspects, Plotz mentions “So, when Indian gambling appeared on the scene, some in California saw it as an opportunity to bleach the industry to channel gambling’s windfall profits toward those more deserving of economic success” (27).…
