In Call Of The Wild Buck is taken from his warm paradise and thrown into a cold hard brutal life and is forced to persevere to survive. Buck is sold and gets moved from Santa Clara Valley in California to Yukon, Canada. While moving he has to adjust to a different climate. He meets more people and joins a sled dog team. One of the troubling things he dealt with while becoming a teaching was moving from a small town to big city. He wasn’t used to all the traffic and all the people. He was looking for a house to live in once he got his teaching degree. He failed the first test to become a teaching and was taking the test again. He had to study more and work harder to make sure he would pass this time. While studying he also worked at nights so it was extremely hard while balancing school and work he was getting ready to get married too.
