At the present time, Hernandez is assuming his role as the second baseman in the Philadelphia Phillies. He prides in his competence as an exemplary defender .Since May 2013, when he made his major league debut, he served as the Chase Utley’s backup until last season when number 26 was dealt to Los Angeles Dodgers.
Despite the base running setbacks, he is performing remarkably well in the leadoff position this season, ranking number five among all the National League basemen on a base percentage ( 0.358) and 4th in steals(14). Additionally, he ranks first among the major league

It isn’t necessarily that Molina is one of the hardest players to watch, though he is. On average, every seven games, he’ll hit a home run. Everything else that he does on the baseball field is aesthetically displeasing. He can’t score from second on a single; he allows pitchers to control every at-bat he takes; his defense is the first thing to go when he gets tired. But, heck, that’s probably holding him to too high of a standard. Catchers aren’t supposed to be fast, they’re not supposed to be especially good hitters, and it’s a tough…

Jim Abbott overcame many trivial endeavours to reach the status he has come to. It takes a lot of heart to get to the MLB especially as a handicap. As most pitchers are in the show for money, fame, records; Jim Abbott was doing all of this just to prove a point. That it doesn’t matter how strong your athletic ability is, as long as you're able to put in the work and effort you can go anywhere. Jim Abbott once said, "If you keep harping on a disability, then you'll start believing there is one. So I don't" (Jim Abbott) (R.J from Sandiego page 1). Abbott knew that he had to keep thinking of it not as a problem but as a reason to push harder to accomplish his goal in life. That is why he is an inspiration to everyone and…

Brandon works hard and tries to do everything anyone says he can't, since the age of four, brandon has done anything he can to make it as a professional baseball player. That's enough talking about myself in the third person, as long as i can remember, i've always dreamed about playing baseball day-in and day- out as what most would call a “job”. I learned along the way that this game is a lot like life, it can pick you up and knock you down just as quick, in the words of Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard “Baseball has a way of ripping your heart out, stabbing it, putting it back in your chest, then healing itself just in time for Spring Training”.…
