Your Topic Cell Phones in School
Your Opinion I think cellphones should be allowed in school, but the majority of the time only in between classes. Although I do think students should be allowed to use them during class, I still think teachers can be allowed to take them away if they become a problem. Reason #1
Reason #2 Some schools have allowed cellphones in class to use for schoolwork only, and instead of distracting the student, it helps them to learn easier.
Some teachers have noted that using cellphones in certain times of the class for specific school-related purposes teaches responsibility.

Fact to Support Your Reason At a highschool in Iowa, teacher Jason Guerin said, that using cellphones helps him to find out what subject matter is tripping up students, so he knows what material they need to work on.
“It gives us a chance to focus on what they don’t get,” Guerin said. “Things that would be a problem on the test get addressed.”
Smart phones now have hundreds of applications meant to educate kids — from graphic calculators to animation programs that teach spelling and phonics. And at a school in New York, students were assigned PDA’s. The students took the phones on a museum field trip where they took photos, uploaded them to a server where the teacher could view the assignment and wrote blurbs about what they saw. Cite Source
