Introduction
If we pull back ourselves to those childhood days of ours, then maximum of us will find ourselves playing an interesting game. The game is nothing but a pipe consisting of two funnels at its two ends and if any sound is made at one end, that very sound reciprocates at the other end with a high volume. So, it is obvious that it’s in our basic nature to contact with a person who is not near to us. This urge of connecting with people had been stirring people from ages and the outcome had to come through a series of discoveries. At first people used to send messengers in primitive stages. By the passage of time they learned to send pigeons carrying messages tied to their legs. But the quest for finding a better way to connect never ended. Then came the epoch making invention by great scientist Alexander Graham Bell. He invented telephone back in 1875. From that time the journey gained a rapid acceleration and the modern child of that journey is known as “Cell Phone” today.
With the new era of cell phones, people started thinking of more features to add to this invention. Surely cell phone started its journey as a blessing of modern technology. But, have we ever tried to see the flipside of it? Cell phone technology came as a huge leap towards connecting people, but did it cause the birth of some imminent threats? According to Peeler (2013) “The myth of King Midas warns us that what we initially perceive as a blessing can also be a curse. Turning objects into gold with the slightest touch would be a magnificent power to have; however, inadvertently transforming food, family and friends into gold would be a
