Celebrities are made of different types of people who all want to live the rich and famous lifestyle. Some celebrities do everything they can just to be in the public eye but others just accept the fame because they enjoy it. Personally, I feel some celebrities must be mad to do certain things just because they want attention from the media, but I also think other celebrities are happy to enjoy themselves while living the dream.

Nowadays, a large number of the lesser known celebrities only become famous for doing stupid things that attract attention from the media, or because they have rich and famous friends or family. These celebrities don’t understand what being famous is because they don’t realise that they need an actual talent or ability to become one of the loved celebrities and they aren’t good role models to the younger society. A good example is Paris Hilton, who is only really famous for being an heiress to a family fortune. However she believes that she has done so much to make herself famous that people love her for what she has done : “I don't think there's ever been anyone like me that's lasted. And I'm going to keep lasting.”
This supports the way that she sees herself in life and also in the way she thinks that the public see her. There are also many minor celebrities who want to be genuinely famous and enter shows such as ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, just to get in the public eye. Most of these people only become world known after these shows have finished because the shows have such a large audience.

There are also many celebrities who have become famous for actually doing something good enough to be promoted world wide like releasing many good songs and albums, or being a true film star in movies and/or television series.
