Causes & Effects of Drugs

The most common causes of drugs to me is association, the people you hang around which goes back to that famous saying birds of a feather flock together. Another cause of using drugs is that a lot of people are not happy with themselves. So they put drugs in there body to hurt themselves its like they are putting poison in their bodies. An other cause would be that there is a lot of peer pressure out there, and a lot of their friends pressure them to do things they don’t really want to do, but at the same time they don’t want to feel left out or they don’t want to get talked about so they do it anyway knowing that it is the wrong thing to do. Some people just are plain bored with their life, and they want their life to be fun and exciting. That is when they turn to drugs and other things. Depression is another cause of drug use; some people get so depressed they turn to drugs because they don’t know what else to turn to. Some people come up out of it, but sometimes people don’t ever come up out of it. Some people just like to get high no matter what it does to their bodies.

Drugs are a very terrible addiction. Most people that are drug addicts had some kind of serious problems one time in their life or another. The effects of drugs can be very severe, and life threating. I know a lot of people that used a lot of drugs have a lot of brain damage. Most of them have a very short memory, and you can tell the drugs have made them a lot slower by how they talk, or answer questions. They have a very slow reaction to everything you ask them or talk to them about. Most people who use crystal meth or crack cocaine, or coke usually lose a substantial amount of weight loss they are so addicted to the drugs that they are on they forget about simple things like cleaning their house, taking care of their kids, and also watching them, they are so addicted to the drugs all they worry about how they can get some more drugs....
