Dona is the only person who does backpack buddies. She gets donations from others and also gets money from some youth groups. One of the challenges that she has to face is when she goes to buy food she has to try to get the most food that she can for the amount of money she has.She says it is a struggle to get health, and cheap food and have enough to give to everyone. She says that she feeds at least 23 people and that they share with their friends who are in the same position. There are no employees everything has to be done by Dona. That people donate food. Mrs. Dona keeps all the food on shelves and keeps stock but every week she goes out to buy fruits, but also has a lot of canned goods. The clients are mostly Big families that can’t afford food for everyone. Also She has people who have a parent that may have lost a job and are really low on money. One of the things she told me about was the fact that you would never accept kids who go to a catholic school be low on food when they go home. Which is why st.
