Catastrophe Of Titanic

My topic for the “Historical Multi-Genre” is the catastrophe of the Titanic. The reason I choose this topic was because I was assigned a project and it had to do with an event that took place in history. If you asked most people about the Titanic, they would all probably say something revolving around the same exact thing. They would talk about how it’s a ship that sank because it hit an iceberg. They won’t mention anything besides what happened at that moment. For the most part, they won’t know what happened before it sank, or things that happened after the Titanic sank. According to an article titled “Deaths Of Shipyard Workers” in total, there were 8 people that died while at work on the Titanic. As an article titled, “Deaths of Shipyard Workers” state's, “Eight Harland and Wolff workers were killed during the construction of the Titanic five of whom have been identified”(Deaths of Shipyard Workers) So, out of all the eight employees that died, only they only know who five of them are. One man that died while working on the Titanic was Samuel Johnson. He died when he was climbing up a ladder. The man then fell from 23 feet high in the air and fell to the ground. He was one out of the five to have fallen while working on the Titanic.
According to an article titled, “Joseph Ismay” the owner of the Titanic was J. Bruce Ismay. J. Bruce Ismay was born on December 12, 1862. It was a tradition for him to board all of their companies ships. So, he did so for the Titanic. When the Titanic sank, he was one of the lucky ones who were able to survive the Titanic.
