The NASW Code of Ethics gives social work professionals a cornerstone for ethical dilemmas that arise on an everyday basis. Social workers need a strong foundation in the core values of their profession to make decisions about ethical issues with their clients and colleagues (). Thus, if ethical misconduct and negligence occur in Social Worker part, her/his license should become rebuked. In this case, the Licensee neglect the client, by not documenting the suicide risk factors, including self-injurious behavior
