The Clorox Company (NYSE:CLX) is a dividend aristocrat and was always considered as a safe play for the retirement portfolio. CLX has increased dividend each year since 1977. Last year, the company increased quarterly dividend by more than 3%, while it appears in a strong position to make a larger dividend growth this year. Its dividend yield is currently standing around 2.37%, compared to the industry average of 2%.
