Case Study: Set Free Thrift Store
The organization where I donated ten high-quality cans of food for extra credit is known as: Set Free Thrift Store, which is part of the Set Free Christian Church. The thrift store is located at: 3021 Fourteenth Street in Riverside, California. Their local church is located at: 2511 Tenth Street in Riverside, California. The key goals of this organization are to help people distressed through life’s crises by teaching the word of god through bible study, feeding the hungry, homeless outreach, and reselling donated items inside their thrift store to offset expenses from running their ministries.     As apart of my service, I assisted in helping the community as well as others through the Notre Dame Annual Pilgrimage, Harvest Kitchen at St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Church and participating in the Notre Dame Walk Against Male Violence.
