Case Study: Sciatic Lace-Ups

11/24/2014, Ms. Cobb had an appointment and was seen in my office today for a follow-up visit to discuss her MRI. Ms. Cobb currently has at least 6 more weeks left of physical therapy along with other treatments. Ms. Cobb is still taking medication for pain while under care at this time. The Sciatic recovery process varies depending on the patient’s body. Sciatic flare-ups are not easily predictable nor are flare-ups an accurately timed science but, the body has to heal itself with time. Since Ms. Cobb’s job duties that she performs on a daily basis require sitting for long periods of time, it will make it very hard for the spinal nerve to heal properly.
