Uber’s new attempt- self-flying taxis
Uber chief product officer, Mr. Jeff Holden created a buzz at the conference which was held recently, the buzz happened because, he was explaining about the Uber’s idea to launch the self-flying taxis in the future. With this new attempt Uber is giving the new transportation experience to its customers.
The flying cars are expected to have the ability of the takeoff and landing or to land and takeoff vertically same as helicopters. Holden told in an interview that the vertical takeoff and landing vehicles are to be operated by the pilot in the starting stage, and in the future they may aim for the autonomous flying taxis, same like the autonomous taxis. Safety is the big issue in the self-driving cars. People fear in situations like, crowd market, bad traffic conditions and in many other situations. Even though the self-driving cars have crash avoidance technology, they are unable to control the car in the situations like, rash driving, jaywalkers and the careless human drivers who doesn’t follow the traffic rules.
The self-flying taxis also have their own risks; the risks with the self-flying taxis are higher than the self-driving taxis. They have the chances of dodging each other, crashing with the tall buildings, with the pedestrians, play ground, schools and many important buildings under them and there are also the chances of malfunctions.
How it can happen?
