Since the internet is the primary vehicle for both business and pleasure, web site developers and site owners must ensure that their websites are user friendly, engaging, and meet the needs of the site user, in other words, useable. Therefore, web usability is critical to the success of webpage developers. According to Nielsen (2012), web usability is a quality attribute that essentially answers the question “Does it do what users need?” This may seem like a simple question to answer, but how it is answered by web site developers is crucial to the life of the web site and its offerings. Because of the vastness of the internet, competition between websites is fierce. If people cannot find what they are looking for on one site they will simply leave and visit another site. The first law of e-commerce is that people cannot buy what they cannot find.…

There are 4 ways mostly to evaluate user interface. I have chosen Kiplinger's business website to conduct a web usability analysis. Interactive design is an evolutionary process, when you take identified problems, visions, needs, and wants reported by user feedback, then incorporate or fix, and further evaluate to refine and increase the success of a given product. In this case the product is a website. Sharp, Rogers & Preece, (2007) said this about iterative design, "When problems are found in user testing, they are fixed and then more test and observations are carried out to see the effects of the fixes" (P. 425). The company website I have chosen will be analyzed using a critical eye that delves further into examples of specific factors that directly impact the usability of websites.…

In consideration of the available resources for this paper’s research and its objectives, usability tests in the form of thinking aloud tests were chosen for conducting the qualitative study. It was decided that this is the most appropriate method to detect usability weaknesses while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the users’ perceptions of the platform. The author will not refer to the thinking aloud method in this part again as the method and its characteris-tics have already been discussed in subchapter…

Tarkim, iPad‘as. Stilingas, patogus, gražus, geras produktas, bet turi trukūmų: nepalaiko 3G, nėra kameros ir .t.t. Bet, kai jis atsirado žmonės masiškai jį pirko. Kai pasibaigė šio produkto pirma karta, Apple išleido antrąją jau turintį kamerą, ir 3G ir ne dėl to, kad buvo techniškai neįmanoma to padaryt pirmajam modeliui, bet todėl, kad komerciškai to neapsimokėjo žiūrint į ateitį.…
