Case Study Of Patient Financial Services Employee
On Thursday, 09/29/2016 at approximately 2045 hours, Patient Financial Services employee, Isamarie Aymat was registering a White female in the E.D. triage desk when the individual began screaming and being disruptive in the lobby. Security Supervisor Steven Evans was in the E.D. Security Office, I responded immediately, verbally instructing the individual to calm down. I assisted PFS, Aymat to register the patient who was later identified as Jessica Rogers (DOB: 10/18/1989). The patient was seen by Nurse, Tony Rusiana in the E.D triage #1, she was uncooperative and yelling because of excessive pain due to a dog bite in the right chest area.     On Thursday December 31, 2015 at approximately 1949 hours, FHEO Security Officers were dispatched to room #503 Beds 1 and 2 for two Disorderly Male Baker Act Patients who were acting up and causing problems for their assigned Psych Sitter, including one patient from Bed 1 who kept trying to leave the room. The event details are as follows: Tina was scheduled for same day surgery and was brought to the hospital by her Mother. Her Mother was informed that the surgery would take approximately 45 minutes and that Tina would be in recovery at least 1 hour.
