Case Study: Ma Vue Etait Foue
Ma vue ètait floue (My vision is blurred). As I woke up, I saw a blur.
Part of me was being torn apart. As I wander I saw how vast skies go and fly. I knew something in me was wrong I can only see the colors dancing in the wind. Until I have discovered the tool “Eyeglasses”. It has helped me to uncover what deep world was I in. I can’t help but to be poured with happiness that my sight has come back to its original state. All I can see was bright and shiny colors until did I have a big fall and see what lies in the dark it was full of dull and fearful colors. I fully see the world, not only happiness and positivity fills it. So every time I walk I smile and enjoy the feeling of being able to see clearly.

With her eyes starving with oxygen the effects at the start wasn’t visible until it was noticed by her optometrist. She was shocked that her eyes are in danger of losing sight. Her condition was diagnosed to be “corneal neovascularization” .The cornea the part of the body which gets its oxygen supply directly from air. The contact lens acted as a barrier to that oxygen supply. Another case is Lucia who wore contact lens for 10 hours and the white of her eyes often became red and sore. Eventually she went to her optometrist diagnosed her with “blepharitis” which is reddening of the eyelids. The main cause? Wearing contact lenses for too long. And those who washes their hands on the bathroom and immediately put their contact Lenses should be aware of Acanthamoeba a bug that burrow their way through the cornea that causes acute pain. Prescription Drugs may treat the bug in early stages and it is difficult to remove. If it became serious corneal transplant may be needed (Epstein, …show more content…
They could be also for first timers and children who may easily scratch or drop their eyeglasses. There is also the Trivet Lens which has the durability of the Polycarbonate Lenses but it’ lighter and it may bring better vision correction than that of the Polycarbonate Lenses. For those who working or using a computer more than 10hours lenses with Anti-Reflective Coating are useful as they are used for lesser glare they help users so that they may not strain their eyes. There is also the Photochromic Lenses these glasses change from clear to tint imagine walking outside and it’s a bright afternoon with a clear eyeglasses it may seem blinding but with these lenses you walk outside like you have a sunglasses it is a really nice protector for UV rays. And then, if you’re into fashion you might just like to add Mirror coatings on your lenses as it hides the eye from the view and comes with a variety of colors such as gold, silver and blue. If you want your glasses to cover more sight I recommend Aspheric lenses as they have differing degrees of curvature over its surface and it’s thinner and flatter than other lenses which gives it more usable portion than of a regular one. And if you were prescribed with a high prescription the recommended lenses is a High Index Plastic Lenses it is lighter and thinner than the

It takes an open mindset, heart, & soul to deal with the curve balls that life throws . Today, I don’t mind letting my pain spearhead my passion. Now I don’t mind singing from my pain, or dancing from where it hurts. In the midst of it all, I found pieces of myself that I acquired from hardship. “Who am I?”, I honestly don't know, but over the past few years, who I've become, a strong young lady who still desires to know more of herself one step at a time. Who I am & who I acquire to be is yet to…

Annie Dillard wrote the essay “Seeing”, which is about the ability to change your perspective on the world around you. Throughout her essay, the author refers to objects such as blades of grass and the universe to demonstrate to her readers that many things are sometimes forgotten or not thoroughly thought about. The author uses themes such as the effect light and dark have on seeing, the difference between the natural obvious and the artificial obvious and the growth and change of perspective from childhood to adult hood to describe her perspective on seeing.…

Though I may have been trapped here for some time, I have managed to stay sane through drawings. I drew how I felt when I felt it. Now however, I am growing restless, and am tempted to peer into the outer world, even though I know it will bring dread and resentment upon my mind. Yet I still have a sliver of hope in my heart and so I decided to view- the mounted screen. I turned it on and waited for the bulbs to warm themselves. Finally an image began to fade into place. I was astonished at what I saw.…

I spent the last weekends enjoying the book “Sight Unseen,” the interesting account of the blindness and sight by Georgina Kleege. The introduction struck me with that clear and strong statement: “Writing this book made me blind” (Kleege 1). Then, Kleege explained, writing this book helps her reflect not only how little she actually can see but also how sighted she is. The beautiful writing style filled with a lot of vivid examples and images as well as detailed description engaged me to see the world from the very different perspective: without vision.…

I tried to open my eyes but all I could see was darkness. All around me darkness sits, still and quiet. I heard a creak, then a minuscule and weak voice talked, “Sydney, are you alright?” “Mmm” was all I could get out of my weak and tired body. Then the voice talked to me again, “Sydney, this is Dad speaking. The doctor just told me that the impact of you hitting the seat in front of you was very hard, it blinded you for life.” Darkness grabbed me, never letting me be perky and happy again…

I am a broken man with broken dreams, both blessed and cursed with clarity. I pity those who cannot see. This life, this world, it always moves in sporadic motions, but in the end, always around. This world it spins and we go nowhere. They run, they writhe, and all for not. We have made a hell and here, in the world we made, our future rots, decomposes down to struggle and death. There is more to see and more to do. There is a life outside our deformed visions. Avert your eyes from this perverted creation. Choose a life away from the…

When I put on my sunglasses, my eyes are immediately drenched in a creamy vision, the world as I know it becomes beige. Everyone feels a sense of detachment when they wear their sunglasses, you feel like you could spy on people without them noticing, or you could camouflage a burse, your red shoot eyes, or to simply help you from yielding to your terrible hangover. But my sunglasses are special to me, because when I put them on, I feel detached from all the sadness of the world. When the world is dipped in that smooth beige, time is no longer a burden that drags me down.…

I gazed upon beautiful pastures occupied by the utmost emaciated cows I had ever seen, assorted with goats that backed into a vast mountain range to my left, while cars and motorcycles zoomed past myself to my right as if I was moving in slow motion. I felt entangled by the chaos, but yet, I felt this internal sense of peace that I had never felt before. My eyes glistened as I took in the beauty enveloped in the disaster that stood in front of me. I drew in a breath and exhaled subsequently, at that moment prepared myself to…

Imagine for a moment a world where there are no feelings or warmth, no smiles or tears. A world where people are no longer people, but pieces of metal. We would only see this world as dead, not beautiful. Leah Silverman’s Lenses foreshadows this imaginary world as our future. The message that the way we are made, as unique individuals, is the most beautiful is conveyed through the main character Corinne’s thoughts, emotions and viewpoint.…
