Case Study: Kaitlin Tripp

At first glance Kaitlin Tripp appears to be a shy introvert, but delve deeper and a whole new personality comes alive. At a young age Kaitlin faced adversity in the eye, as her parents divorced when Kaitlin turned two and adversity struck once again when her grandma belittled her by calling her a slut. Yet, this did not stop Kaitlin from setting high goals for herself and working towards achieving them. Additionally, she knew that she needed to work on her networking skills. Therefore, she joined FCCLA and later became the Public Relations Officer. Specifically, FCCLA helped Kaitlin enhance her networking skills and become more comfortable with speaking in front of people. While in the classroom Kaitlin appears to be shy; she simply prefers
