1. In Unit One we defined what the natural sciences are. List five different natural sciences mentioned in the video and the context in which they are mentioned. (Example: Nanotechnology - "...molecular transistors may one day usher in a world of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is the ability to manipulate matter at the scale of atoms and molecules.")

2. Define Moore’s law and describe its effect on society.
Moore’s Law is the relation between our progress and our current times. The end of such would be an economic catastrophe to society. This law was first called out nearly 40 years ago and it determines that a computer power doubles every 18 months, but there is a common belief amongst some industry professionals that it will soon begin to decline. The silicon chip is believed to have a limit to how small it can be before it starts to break down. In certain cases, this will cause the apparatus to simply stop functioning. When and if this happens, we will face turmoil.

3. Describe and define what is meant by nanotechnology/nanobots.
These are defined as life like objects which would be able to reproduce and serve our needs. IT could have a form of a simple pill, which once swallowed could serve to destroy viruses and fight infections. These would serve as an auxiliary to our immune system – maybe it could even be called a booster – which would be inside our body and it would continuously monitor our body and fight viruses and
