Case Study: A Career As A Medical Assistant
Working for the organization Brevard Health Alliance as a Medical Assistant my priorities are: time management, knowing the EMR, preparing exam rooms is a top priority, performing medical tasks (shots, UA dips, Finger Sticks, EKG), updating patient’s medical records, and most important building a positive relationship with my coworkers as to help them when they are in need for an extra hand. Being an excellent listener, friendly and compassionate is a must for the patients as a medical assistant. I wouldn’t change anything about my job. Sometimes we have team issues, problems and so on which can be challenging, but the pros of working with such a great team far outweigh the negatives. What I love most about my job as an MA is that I put a smile
