The project studies the various aspects related to rural retail in India. It proposes an ideal model for retail format. The business plan studies the market potential, customer segmentation, and various challenges faced in the operation of sustainable rural retail business chain. These is followed by summary of our understanding about Indian Rural sector their needs and wants and prevalent retail industry. Finally the KRR model is proposed and explained. Product offering, retail mix, supply chain innovation, sourcing, location, financials etc are detailed in several sub heading in the business plan. The report is concluded by discussing the USP, sustainability report and summary of benefits of the model
