Cas Standards
In this paper, I will talk about the CAS standard for University of Northern Colorado (UNCO) Career Services. At first, I thought that there was not CAS standard for UNCO Career Services and I was wrong after asking the director of Career Services. Career Services follows the CAS Standard and their values in order improve the program and the institution. In this paper, I will evaluate the program, how CAS fits within the Career Services, and recommendation.
Evaluate the program
One of the things I notice right away with UNCO Career Services is that the mission statement does not really match well with the institution mission. I feel like that UNCO as an institution and Career Services are going two different directions when it comes to mission

I will discuss which components were more visible in my short time with Career Services. From experience, Career Service goes beyond program and the scope of career advising by creation meaningful relationship with the students. Career service also does outreach, presentation, and works with UNCO Orientation program. Organization and leadership are really great as well because everyone is on the same page and the director believes in work-life balance. Everyone knows the goal at hand and the team chemistry flows easily throughout the …show more content…

I really do not have any more recommendation for Career Service, besides keep up the good work for the student and this

Navy Credit Union does a good job portraying who they are, and what they do on their brief mission statement. I agree with you, that they can add the sentence about "You can leave the military, change employers, move, retire, and get married— and never have to leave Navy Federal". That will make their mission statement a more powerful one. This sentence can bring attention to military members that no matter where their life goes, they can trust Navy Credit Union in all of their financial matters. Additionally, this can eventually help attract more people and investors, which internally can help the growth of the company.…

One career goal I have created is to choose which firm I want to work for when I get my degree. Having this in mind will help me create my plan on how to get to the place I ultimately want to be.
