Canine training is a career that combines the knowledge of the animals’ behavior with simple teaching skills, adding patience, consistency, and professional communication skills such as, but not limited to hand gestures and commands. With every animal you have to build their confidence around people as people do some crazy and stupid things. It's not easy getting owners to admit when they are wrong when training a canine you must train the owner as well.

Canine trainers must develop patience for as it may look like it could be easy, it could take many classes for the canine to learn the desired behavior. As a matter of fact, most canine trainers are indeed self-employed, but others could work for a head trainer, or in a pet store’s obedience training program. Canine trainers could also be hired by animal shelters, veterinary clinics, or boarding kennels. Yet, being a canine trainer, help is always needed. Some may come with more experience or even a different outlook on things that could help you in the long run or you could gain more knowledge. Those who tend to become a canine trainer are permitted to specialize in obedience, behavioral modification, aggression management, therapy or service dog training, agility, show dog handling, puppy training, trick training, and a variety of other …show more content…
One of the things that really draw me in are how canines tend to teach us elements in life. When you make it fun for them it makes it fun for me. Just the joyful look upon the owners face is what keeps me motivated as they watch their canine excel in learning. I plan on becoming a certified canine trainer to fulfill my dream job. The good thing about this job is I will get paid a tremendous amount of money, the duties aren't too hard, and who's to say... Maybe one day I could become a professional canine trainer and get promoted. Reading this paper I hope I drew you into thinking maybe one day you too can become a canine trainer as well.
