Camping at the Caddo River Rental And Canoes
Believe it or not I actually am a country girl and I love to camp ! I love to camp because it allows you to spend quality time with your family while enjoying mother nature ! Its so relaxing and beautiful; the best place to camp is the Caddo river . Its got everything you need; and the bathhouses are nice. You can see all of the river from the campsite I like to go to at The Caddo River Rentals and Canoes. They also offer about twenty different floating trails that you and your family can take together. They offer transportation to and fromm the trails. My favorite part of camping is waking up to the smell of cowboy coffee and bacon being cooked on an open fire . Since cowboy coffee is brewed in a pot on an open fire it has a distint smell. I love being able to drink coffee around the fire with my family . We get to catch up on lost of lost years. Afterwards we usually eat a good breakfast. Then we take a shower and gather things for the float The shower houses at the caddo river rental and canoes are very nice; that is very important when campink because you make go hiking and get dirty. The showers are kind of tricky ;because instead of being able to just turn on the faucet you have to hold a button down the whole time your in the shower. After you get out of the shower you need to go hang your towwerls and washcloths on the clothsline because there is no washer and dryer while camping. You need to make sure you are dressed properly and have on some shoes that wont let you slip. The rocks on the bottom of the caddo are very slippery. Some spots are veery shallow and you can walk you don’t wanna fall. We always gather ssome snacks and a bottle of water for everyone and put it in the icechest . Everyone has to put on sunblock , because believe me sunburn is no fun while camping. The bus picks you up at 11:00 am you hav to be reasdy or they will leave you. Always
