Developing a Strategic Approach
In the healthcare, sector organization creates a mission and vision statement as a tactic to show consumers their purpose or reason for the business. Having these accounts will guide the company as they work towards meeting and adhering to the objective. Mission and value statements are not permanent, and as the direction of the business continues to develop they may opt to enhance these comments to meet their current needs. These elements will guide the managers as they create and implement a strategic approach. Although this won't be the only factors in the plan, they will assist the company to understand the manner in which they want to operate to ensure they provide a valuable service that will be shown through their actions to align with both of these statements.

Although the Campbell Hospital is the only facility within miles, they still have to continue to offer excellent service to the individuals of the community and creating a strategic

Once the directional plan is in place, then one can construct adaptive techniques to achieve the company’s goals. According to Ginter, Duncan, & Swayne (2013), the adaptive strategy will determine if the organization will grow, reduce or maintain their current operations (p. 211). As the healthcare industry evolves, the Campbell Hospital must use the expansion element of the strategy to increase the services that are available. Being the only hospital for miles they must continuously formulate plans that will enhance the products and services that are available. In this case, choosing to reduce the services will not benefit the consumers nor will it be in line with the organization mission. While the current state of business is satisfactory, they cannot remain the same they must continue to augment the facility to guarantee that it remains
