Executive Summary

A. Type of Business
1. Nature
The nature of the business belongs to a food processing industry. The business will process raw materials and come up with the finish good that will be sold by the workers. The nature of the product is, it is a viand that can be consumed in breakfast, lunch or dinner.
2. Name
The name of the business is “Camp Tinapahan”.
3. Product/service
Smoked fish or Tinapa is fish cooked or preserved through smoking and is a Filipino native delicacy. It has a three-stage process: the brining part, which gives it a good salty taste and makes it moist;the cooking part, where fishes are submerged in boiling water; and the smoking part, which cooks the fish and gives it the smoky flavor.
Smoked Fish products are available throughout the year because a wide variety of fish species like Lapad, Tunsoy, Banak, Kabasi, Hasa-Hasa, Galunggong and Tamban can be processed using the same technology. Except for Galunggong, all other species command a higher price.

B. Management, Marketing, Production/Operation & Financial Highlights
Management
Camp Tinapahan is a partnership type of business; it includes nine (9) members that will work together for the prosperity of the business. The partners will be compensated with salary every day, except for the manager that will be paid every week.
The organizational structure is composed of one manager/ bookkeeper and two production and distributing team that will be composed of four members each team. The task of the manager/ bookkeeper is to monitor the productivity of the workers and to maintain records of transactions complete and accurate. He/she has also a power to terminate employees if they do not follow the rules and regulation of the business.
The business also acquires production equipment in order to maximize the productivity and quality of work of each employee. Marketing
