1. Spend some time planning the structure of your dissertation before starting to write. 2. Think about the objectives of the project; what you did and the results that you obtained.  3. Divide the contents into the appropriate chapters and sections 4. Seek the advise of your project supervisor

5. Try to get a copy of a project written by a student in your department to gain a feel for how the project is organised. 6. Use a new page to start each chapter/topic.
7. Write the Abstract and Introduction chapter last - once you have written the other main chapters, it is easier to do this
