Anti Federalist- small farmers frontiersmen who believed that government should be close to the people and that the concentration of power in the elites is dangerous. This relates to the topic of are unit because people were trying to figure out a way to govern our country and the Anti- federalists thought a certain way. This concept is important to American politics because the Anti federalists were a party who had a certain belief and they are just like the republican or democratic party today.

Bicameral- The division of a legislative assembly into two chambers or two houses. This relates to the unit because we are talking about the formation of our government and people though that Bicameral was the best way to rule the legislative branch. This concept is important because today we have to chambers in our legislative branch, the House and the Senate and many people believe in is a effective way to put through new legislature.

Elastic Clause- a statement in the U.S constitution that grants congress to pass all the laws necessary and proper for carrying out the enumerated list of powers. This relates to our unit because we have been talking about how powerful our government can be and with this clause they can be as powerful as the laws they pass. This concept is important because this clause helps congress pass laws that can be necessary to ensure safety of the American people.

Enumerated Powers- this is a list of items founds in the Constitution that set forth the Authorities capacity of Congress. This relates to our unit because we have been talking about the creation of our government and how much power it actually has and the enumerated powers set forth the capacity of congress. This important because many people have questions on the capacity of congress and the enumerated powers helps define it.

Ex post facto laws- this is also called a retroactive law that changes the legal consequences of actions that were committed before the action of the law. This word relates to our unit because during the time period people were committing crimes that were legal but now they are illegal and can be charged with something because of the Ex post facto laws. This is important because people are less likely to do certain things because of these Ex post facto laws.

Federalist Papers- a series of articles that promoted the ratification of the United States Constitution. They relate to our unit because during the making of our constitution people were unsure whether or not they should ratify it and this helped influence people decision. The federalist papers are important because it helped ratify the most important document in our country.

Full faith and Credit- other states have to respect the public acts, records and judicial proceedings of every other state. This relates to our unit because the government needs laws about what guidelines others states need to follow when dealing with other states. This concept is important because under this clause every state has a certain set of rules to follow when dealing with other states.

Limited Government- the government has the power to intervene in the exercise of civil liberties is restricted by law usually written in the constitution. This concept relates to our topic because during the construction of the constitution people were wondering whether to have a limited government or a large government. This concept is important because there are two types of belief on government a limited government or a large government.

Natural Rights- a right that exists by virtue of natural law. This concept relates because when forming the constitution there was many questions on natural law. This is important because everyone is entitled to his or her Natural Rights.

Privileges and Immunities- includes the right to receive protection from state government and the right to acquire all kinds of property and the right to travel through or reside in any state. This concept...
