You are to produce a guide for applicants on the recruitment documentation used within a selected organisation (Duffryn High School). The guide should use a specified job role as an example and describe the recruitment documentation and the main employability, personal and communication skills required when applying for the specified job role.

Duffryn High School I have selected to investigate is Duffryn High School.
It employs 70 teachers and 66 support staff.
The advertised job role I have selected is for a level 2 Learning Support Assistant.
Job Analysis is the process of gathering and analysing information about the content and the human requirements of jobs, as well as, the context in which jobs are performed. This process is used to determine placement of jobs. Also, a Job Analysis is a method that potential candidates use to help them to identify and gather information about their potential job, the usually things that a potential employee will use a job analysis is that so they can identify and understand the qualifications, desirable qualities, essential qualities etc. Since Duffryn High School doesn’t have a Job Analysis this would be a disadvantage because over the years the essential and desirable qualities of a potential employee would change over time, for example a person trying to
