Abstract
Foreign direct investment has a big effect on the development of national and regional economy. As the economy globalization, China 's huge potential market has attracted substantial foreign direct investment. Facing the new situation, Chinese government should be more farsighted, continue to be positive, reasonable, and effective use of foreign direct investment, to promote sustained, rapid and healthy development.

Background
Since the economic reform and opening policy in 1978, China has opened its door to the foreign direct investment gradually. Especially, Chinese government has been pursuing a policy of encouraging foreign investment in the country since the passage of the joint venture law. Nowadays, China 's foreign direct investment has entered a stage of rapid development, it already become important global overseas investors.
Problem
Some Chinese direct investment projects were hindered due to the U.S. policy " national security". It reflects the ambivalent attitude of the U.S. direct investment in China. Because of the world economic crisis, the U.S. debate on foreign investment between 2007-2009 has eased off. But in recent years, the substantial growth of U.S. direct
