Critical analysis of site
I would like to acknowledge with my heartfelt gratitude towards the team of “DESIGN FORUM INTERNATIONAL” who helped me throughout the 6 months training period and in the compilation of the report. Firstly and foremost the directors of the firm; Ar. Goonmeet Singh Chauhan, Ar. Anoj Tevatia and Ar. Anand Sharma, for accepting me as a part of the firm and giving me a chance to learn and grow in every possible manner. I am grateful to Mr. Girish Chandra Joshi, the assistant Director and the team leader, for taking personal interest in developing my professional competence and encouraging me for this project and providing me with the drawings and other required data available for the report. Also I would like to acknowledge Ar. Shamim Khan, for being a mentor, a friend and a guide throughout the journey. It is a group housing project by renowned infrastructure developer “THE UPPAL GROUP.” Dwarka region has a high potential for developing into a major residential junction as it happens to be a node between Haryana and Delhi. Located near the Dwarka Metro Station, Delhi; the project aims at better living standards in the plotted development of the region. With this group housing the developers are looking forward to provide quality dwelling units in 4bhk, 3bhk, 2bhk, 2bhk+ study & EWS modules, along with quality amenities and green spaces. Architect

About the city...
Dwarka is a sub city, located in the South West Delhi district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in the vicinity of International and Domestic airports. It is named after the Legendary Dwarka Kingdom. The city is bounded by NH-8, Outer Ring Road, Najafgarh Road, Pankha Road, and the Rewari railway line. The land use distribution of Dwarka follows a distinct hierarchical pattern from sub-city level to sector level, with 29 sector divisions. It is one of the largest residential areas in Asia. At present more than 6,70000 people are resident. Spread over an area of about 5648 hectares, 20% of which will be maintained as green, resulting in the availability of 15 square meters per person for green space and recreation.

The Landscape concept of Dwarka evolves a system of open spaces which have the potential to develop into a landscape with distinctive visual qualities. The location and alignment of existing landscape features have been used to structure the development. A sizable percentage of Dwarka has been earmarked for green space development with jogging/running track.
