We hope you have the answers to our questions and thank you for helping us. Internatioanl expansion is one of the srategies wwe want to use in growing our business. There are important issues that you have to consider when expanding to other countries. We have looked at some of these issues. We see that we have to adapt to other countries cultures and traditions. Also we have to consider religous differences in ther countries. For example in some religonds some meats are concidered sacred, which we will have to take into consideration if we want to sell our products in those countries. We also rrealize that we have to make our business acomidate the peolpe of each country. We cant have the same things in each store. Customers like that comfortable feeling that we can provide them by expanding into other countries. We would like to sell our products considering people wants and needs. Also considering the prices that fit our customers. We will also learn of our customers wants and needs by having evaluations in our stores each week considering different issues. This will make us aware of what our customers want and should help us satisfy our customers. By listening to the customers opinions we will be able to come up with new types of ideas and goods that we could sell in addition to our coffe and desserts. Also we realize that people like a relaxing atmosphere in a coffe and desert house. we will acomidate this by having

Although having unhealthy food is quite valuable for many students, we should propose something that would benefit the school and the students. I recommend we start replacing unhealthy food like chips and soda pop with more nourishing food like yogurt or fruit juice. This would not only help having healthier food but also persuade students to eat healthy. Another way we can start the process of healthy food is through using the power of posters in which we can advertise about all the advantages of keeping a healthy yet effective food diet. If us grade nine students start eating healthier this would make us great role models for the younger students who would also want to eat food high in nutrients. By applying these methods the grade nine students will still be able to attend there adventure camp in spring every year and also exercise the benefits of eating much healthier.…

Q: List elements of the national business environment that influence the standardization-versus-adaptation decision. Standardized is just one of a number of strategies with which firms successfully enter the international marketplace today. Standardization may not always be the most appropriate strategy, even. Smaller companies may also be better off adapting to local cultures and exploiting their international image to gain market share locally. Consumers in different national markets often demand products that reflect their unique tastes and preferences. Cultural, political, legal, and economic environments have a great deal to do with the preferences of both consumers and industrial buyers worldwide. A culture’s aesthetics involves, among other things preferences for certain colors.…

Tesco is the largest grocery retailer in the United Kingdom, with a 25 percent share of the local market. In its home market, the company’s strengths are reputed to come from strong competencies in marketing and store site selection, logistics and inventory management, and its own label product offerings. By the early 1990s, these competencies had already given the company a leading position in the United Kingdom. The company was generating strong free cash flows, and senior management had to decide how to use that cash. One strategy they settled on was overseas expansion. As they looked at international markets, they soon concluded that the best opportunities were not in established markets, such as those in North America and Western Europe, where strong local competitors already existed, but in…

Although sea voyages have held an aura of mystique for centuries, only in recent decades have the general masses been able to experience open seas and exotic ports of call as a purely recreational activity. Cruises, i.e., sea voyages for pleasure, offer passengers the convenience of an assigned cabin as they sail along a fixed itinerary that concludes at their original point of sea embarkation. Almost everything about the entire cruise industry is international, from the routes traveled to the use of flags of convenience to the locations of shipyards to the staffing of vessels. By far the largest cruise competitor is Carnival Corp., which claims more than 40 percent of the global cruise market and owns more than ten different lines. Because Carnival operates globally, it can treat the entire world as a source of both customers and supplies. At the same time, its widespread operations also leave Carnival vulnerable to political upheavals, health crises, economic recessions, and natural disasters. Still in all, the future outlook both for the industry and for Carnival is bright as more people the world over choose a holiday cruise.…
