ASSIGNMENT 1
Communication Skills:
Communication skills are critical to the success of all that I do. My communication starts with observing and listening, which forms the base. This helps me to have complete knowledge of the things around me, which is very helpful for my job, and helps to prevent any communication barrier and thus improves my communication skills. I try to express everything in a better way and clear the doubts of listeners in the best possible way so that there must not be any confusion. Also feedback is very important, because it serves as a guide and tells me how I perform. In this way I can carry my managerial job in a better way and fulfill organizational goals.
How Business Communication Course has helped:
I have understood that poor communication skills can cause an adverse result, it can lead to dissatisfied employer, customers and colleges. Business communication has helped me to understand that clarity, brevity and accuracy is very important in communication. It has also helped me in overall grooming of my personality through presentations and improving my vocabulary. Because of this course I have become more confident while communicating. I am able to make better changes in the way I communicate. It has developed a habit of listening so that I can give right feedback.
Business communication has also helped me to understand time management and teamwork, as we were given presentations to be presented in a team and with a time limit.
I have used the tips and advice given in this course, in my everyday communication and that has helped me to speak and write more effectively.
