Description of KFC Kentucky Fried Chicken, which is widely referred to as KFC, is a fast food restaurant from America that is specialised in fried chicken [1]. This initiative started in 1983 and has helped children develop self-confidence while getting the exercise they need [16]. When a KFC employee/manager in Rosebank was interviewed, he was unsure what the answer to my question was and therefore referred me to another manager. She was more helpful and I got more information than before. I enquired about what the Add Hope© Campaign was and she told me it was an organization that raises funds for many different charities. When I asked for an example of these many charities, she failed to give me at least one example. I then enquired about how much money is actually raised in Rosebank from the R2’s and whether or not people are willing to donate. On any given weekend they can make close to R1000 while during the week it is unclear as it varies a lot with how the customers are feeling. People are more willing to give at the end of the month, knowing they have just gotten paid. Those not willing to pay usually have no knowledge of what it is and will either do their research or not give in R2 at all. She was a bit reluctant to give me any information as she thought I was from the media, writing bad reviews on restaurants
