Baderman Island Employee innovation Baderman Island has many ways to develop employees into great employees. It has always been the hopes of the Boardman Management Company to hire some of the most innovative people of the area. In order to get to this point the company has some innovative ideas to start this process. Starting at the application, Boardman has designed a web system that picks the best applicants for interviews. When hired the training begins with a manual that has the Baderman Island name on it. This gives the employee a sense of belonging from the very first day. The Boardman Corporate University is on Baderman Island, under the direction of the Baderman group. The group has developed courses for all employees regardless of pay level or job. Every job on Baderman Island is important of course and with the classes at the University advancement is made easier. The goals of this education are: • No cost through the offering of class’s • Support employees who want to learn more skills for advancement • Support managers through customized training development • Provide standardized orientation for employee success The future of the Baderman Island depends on these future managers and leaders. While looking ahead these employees have to be innovative and be able to design what future guest of the Island are looking for. With the future development of the proposed Casino and new transportation these future employees will have to be creative as well as innovative. Of course, the Island always has been known to be, and will be secure in the future. Security has been a large part of the draw to the Island. Everyone enjoys the fact that all safety issues are taken very seriously. In the future we may need to hire more ex-military for this area. Marketing is another way that the employees shine on Baderman Island. We use
