1Introduction

Burglar alarm systems/Intruder alarm systems monitor the designated area or areas to detect the presence or suspicious elements and plays a crucial role in theft protection. It is one of the most reliable means to secure a house or a work place. The intruder alarm system consists of an array of sensors, a control panel, alerting system and interconnections. Sensors detect the intruders by many methods such as monitoring door and window contacts, by passive infrared motion detectors, ultrasound vibration, electric or magnetic fields or may communicate wirelessly. Intrusion alarm systems may also be combined with closed-circuit television surveillance systems to automatically record the activities of intruders and may interface to access control systems for electrically locked doors. An alarm is designed to alert the user to an intrusion. The work of the home security system begins with the sensors and motion detectors.
Alarm circuits are spread wide over the internet and some of them are

Utilizing the circuit designs perfected for recently introduced Quad Operational Amplifiers, these dual operational amplifiers feature 1) low power drain, 2) a common mode input voltage range extending to ground/VEE, 3) single supply or split supply operation and 4) pinouts compatible with the popular MC1558 dual operational amplifier. The LM158 series is equivalent to one–half of an LM124. These amplifiers have several distinct advantages over standard operational amplifier types in single supply applications. They can operate at supply voltages as low as 3.0 V or as high as 32 V, with quiescent currents about one–fifth of those associated…

The office building exterior has three outer doors and one window. The first door is marked with an Employees Only sign and requires a badge for access. The second door is the main entrance for visitors and is manned by a guard, who requires a visitor’s pass for admittance. The third door is an emergency exit only and is clearly marked. Any attempt to gain access through the first door without a badge, the second door without a pass, or the third door at all, results in alarm activation and guard response. The window is locked from within; any attempt to gain access through the window also activates the alarm and alerts the guard.…

The primarily responsibility is monitoring and controlling the numerous alarm "input" devices (manual and automatic detection modules) and then triggering the appropriate alarm "output" devices (horns, bells, warning lights, emergency telephone dialers, and building controls) (Gagnon, 2008). Control panels often run the gambit from single input and output units, to high-tech computer systems that can monitor numerous structures that spread out over campuses depending on requirements. The two most common control panel designs are conventional and addressable. Both of which are further detailed…
