Bullying and Positive Images
Bullying Bullying, one word that everyone knows. Bullying is the most common thing everyone can encounter at some point in their life. You are either doing it or receiving it. Bullying can eventually turns into suicide because the person that is being bullied feels hopeless and may even feel as though they have nothing to live for, when in reality they do. How would you feel if you were the one bullying someone and then they committed suicide as a result of it? Would this make you feel guilty, shamed, or remorseful? Many kids are getting bullied every day and this is not cool, there are four ways that we can stop this and get the problem noticed. Chain reaction, ordinary people helping to stop the bullying, well known people helping to stop it, and positive images to spark something. Everyone is a bully at some point in their life. Let’s put a stop to it now, our parents gave us a life and that was not meant to be mean to others but to help them. If we can all come together and stop this then bullying will end and lives will be saved. One person can be a bully and it can start a chain reaction that is negative, so let’s start a positive chain reaction by showing support to victims of bullies. This is up to you, all the bullies, let’s put a stop to this tirade. Instead of you walking around hitting on someone, why don’t you try giving them a high five, a pat on the back, or even a hug; something positive. Any ordinary person can help, if you stop bullying others will see the positive you are doing and step in and then a kid can be saved. If this kid you just helped sees the positive side of it, he may throw out positive comments and start a chain reaction for others who are being bullied. If this happens, the chain reaction can actually save other kids from being bullied and possibly taking their life over something as minor as a bully. A kid who has 5 brothers or even no siblings can help stop this it doesn’t matter. Many actors or big time

Bullying has become an epidemic, and it needs to come to an end. If people will stand up for each other and protect each other, I believe bullying would cease to be effective. It preys on those who do not have the confidence to defend themselves. Often times, the bully hurts others as a way of protecting himself. He believes that if he attacks others, then they will not know he himself is hurting, or has been hurt in the past. It becomes a coping mechanism for him. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that bullying should not be responded to with more violence. They need to be shown love, but firm love. A love that says, “I love you enough to not let you continue down this path. Let me show you another way.” Then you are not only l protecting those that the bully hurts, but also you are protecting the bully himself in the long run.…

School bullying has more than likely existed as long as schools themselves. The consequences of such bullying were once limited to name-calling and occasional schoolyard fights. In recent years, however, school bullying has taken a more serious turn; more and more frequently, bullied students are turning to violence as a solution; either through suicide or through deadly acts carried out against their persecutors and other students. These tragedies have led to heightened awareness among parents, children, educators, and law enforcement experts about the harmful short and long term effects of bullying. School bullying can consist of physical violence against a student, but more often involves ridicule and attempts to humiliate the target student in front of others. The victims are often students who are not part of an established social group at school, such as new students or those who suffer from health or learning disabilities. Bullying campaigns can also be waged over relationship…

Bullying is a form of abuse that is displayed toward the victim which forms an unhealthy relationship. This relationship consists of the bully having continual control of the victim’s life for an extended period of time. It gives the bully a sense of empowerment that they continue to feed off of. This is much different from school aged aggression that typically has a one-time occurrence, such as fighting or teasing between friends. Conversely, bullying can lead to suicide. Bully related suicide can be connected to any type of bullying, whether it is physical bullying, emotional bullying, cyber bullying, sexting, or even the circulating of suggestive photos of a person. Sadly, over 14 percent of high school students have considered suicide and almost seven percent have actually attempted it.…
