LETTER OF FINAL WARNING
DATE: October 1, 2013
On the date of June 1, 2013 Mr. Paul Bunion violated company policy regarding the use of personal devices on duty hours. As a result, two time sensitive calls were missed and three in person client complaints were made. Mr. Bunion was directed the morning of to refrain from the use of personal devices such as cellular or personal communication devices while working front desk operations. Mr. Bunion was also informed that personal devices could be used during breaks in employee break room.
The intent of this notice is to inform Mr. Bunion that these actions are in violation of company policy. The office of Lyons & Steele has a strict code of professionalism in order to gain the confidence of our clients. When presented in front of our clients we must carry ourselves as competent professionals that are attentive to the needs of our clients. It is advised that all employees are mindful of this. Personal distractions from our front desk operations has a direct impact on our reputation as excellent service providers and aiding the clients that we serve. Due to the nature of our business the loss of a client could result in multi-million dollar contracts. Services provided to our clients contains a high degree of detail sensitive information. Front desk operations should remain distraction free in order to maintain a high quality experience for our clients.
This notice will serve as a final warning for such violations. If this situation is not corrected, future violations pertaining this type of conduct will serve as grounds for loss of company privileges, demotion up and including termination from Lyons & Steele. Per policy all employees have the opportunity to provide a letter of rebuttal for consideration of extenuating circumstance within 3 days of receipt of this notice.
