Describe the promotional mix used by two selected organisation for selected product or service.
In this assignment I am going describe about the promotional mix used by two selected organisation for selected product or service. For this assignment I am going to choose two businesses Greenwich Community College and Tesco. These both organisations have their own way for promotional mix for their product and services.
Promotional mix
Promotional mix is the elements that make up an organisation’s marketing communications strategy such as; personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, sponsorships, purpose and objectives of promotion mix and direct marketing and public relations. The promotional mix is how business attempts to communicate with various target audiences and is a key element in the overall marketing mix. There are six different types of elements they are: advertising personal selling sales promotion public relations direct marketing sponsorships

AdvertisingAdvertising is a paid form of non-personal presentation and promotion of ideas, goods or services by an identified sponsor, by American Marketing Associations. In other words, advertising is the activity or profession of producing information for promoting the sale of commercial products and services. Advertising is the method used by a wide variety of organisation to: communicate a message to a selected audience persuade people to buy a product and services highlight specific features or qualities inherent within the product and service

Organisation may use advertising to develop attitudes, create awareness and transmit information in order to gain a response from the target market. There are many advertising media, including newspapers [local and national trade], magazines and journals, television [local, national, terrestrial and satellite], cinema, outdoor advertising such as poster, leaflets and buses and internet.
