My chosen Career is Broadcast and Communications. I decided that this was going to be my chosen career in High School. I didn't have to choose this career, I knew that this was something that I wanted to pursue in life. I had always been drawn to news anchors or reporters that interacted with important people in time. Growing up I watched reporters, news anchors and broadcasters in fascination. I loved the way that they carried themselves amongst the people they were reporting on as well as the viewers watching the reporters at home, one being myself. I found myself drawn to them. I wanted to be the reporter that viewers at home such as myself were fasciated by. I wanted to be the entertainment, the household name that became someone that viewers saw everyday and built a relationship with. I wanted viewers at home to see me as part of their house hold everyday. I wanted to be the source of information on the outside world. I wanted to be the one to give viewers insight on a world bigger than the one that they woke up to every morning. Most of all I wanted to be the entertainer, the voice. I grew up fascinated by these Women who I saw as great entertainers . Later on in high school I was given the opportunity to broadcast for my high school news. Once given the opportunity to broadcast I knew that it was what I wanted to pursue. Broadcasting was what I wanted to do in life. Broadcasting came so easy for me, it was effortless and none the less, I loved it.
Over time everyone develops skills, these skills usually tie up with every day life. Some values have specifically stuck out for me and are hand in hand with my chosen major which I will state. Inspiration is a force, a drive that people seek as well as give. Broadcasting is about sending out a message and sometimes the message is to inspire. Inspiration is continence and sub continence. People at home watching could be inspired by how well I carry myself or how well I deliver a report to them. I find...
