Tablets are small and easy to conceal, easy to slip into a backpack so, many students like to bring them to school.while carrying a laptop on your back can start to feel a lot heavier with time.Tablets are becoming increasingly popular for all demographics .Some advantages include, Tablets help students learn more material faster, according to the US Department of Education. Tablets can hold hundreds of textbooks on one device, plus homework, quizzes, and other files, eliminating the need for physical storage of books and classroom materials. Tablets contain many technological features that cannot be found in print textbooks, tablets have so many apps that students learn in a variety of ways. Tablets give users the ability to highlight and edit text and write notes without ruining a textbook. Print textbooks are heavy and cause injuries on your backbone, while a tablet only weighs 1-2 pounds. On a tablet, e-textbooks can be updated instantly to get new editions or information. Using a tablet is so intuitive that it makes learning fun and easy.Although these advantages overcome the negatives, with new technology, there comes some negatives.Tablets have too many distractions for classroom use. Students may pay attention to apps, email, games, and websites instead of their teachers Tablets enable students to cut corners or cheat on schoolwork.
